Was It Just Me, Or Did The Superbowl Ads Suck?

Now that there has been a day for everyone to absorb one of the best Superbowl games ever played, I just want to put it out there that I am very let down by the poor ads this year. I will admit that dinosaur size pigeons were pretty good, but all said, the ads were all a bit timid and stale. The just keep going down hill in quality, in general goodness.

Where is the Bud bowl of today, I ask? Beer cans playing football, that is all I ask for. I fear that the Bud Bowl would never make the cut. Is it too risky in this post-wardrobe malfunction era for a beer company to so directly advertise its wares?

Time to move on. Big day tomorrow. Election post to come soon.

Agreed. Not nearly as many "big" commercials, and most of them not all that memorable. I thought the pigeons were by far the best. I'm always a sucker for the Clydesdales, so I liked that one. The screaming animals were pretty good (but anticlimatic when the car swerved). I guess in this pc age the car also had to swerve to avoid Richard Simmons. . .but. . .

You seem to get one or the other with the superbowl. Either you get good comercials and a boring game or you great game and only so-so commercials. I think I would rather have a good game. As a side note, you anyone else tired of talking babies?

Talking babies are a bit tired, I agree. And yes, they should have gone ahead and ran over Richard Simmons -- who would be offended by that? If they keep having such bad ads, people may just TIVO the game. That is what we did at the party I went to. Advertisers should take note.
