I was enjoying a nice brownie in front of this nice Astor place store this weekend, and a cute girl came up to me and had me look after her dog Gracie while she when inside the store to get it a snack. Sure, no prob. For some reason, she did look familiar... yup that's certainly somebody famous. I've never been good at the celebratory-spotting game, but it didn't take me long to figure out that it was Parker Posey. Nice girl, I'd say, and in case this you ever find yourself trying to impress her, her cute fluffy white dog fluffy likes o snack on cooked chicken.

I saw Parker while waiting to take some non-New York friends out to dinner. They talked me into getting up at dawn and joining them on a 42 mile bike ride through all five of the city's boroughs. Little did I know that all of New York decided to dust off their bikes and join in the festivities. Have a look at FLICKR's pictures, as I didn't bring a camera. It was a fun ride, despite the of the heard of people. I slept well last night.
