Eid mubarak ho! Congratulations to anyone who is celebrating the end of Ramadan today. Sadly, I must admit that I did not know of this holiday until I heard about it on the radio this morning. Considering that I often find myself reading about local Iraqi politics on my morning commute, I figure it's good to know what the Muslim holidays are. In related news, I suspect that my newspaper guy at my subway stop is Muslim as I couldn't get a paper this morning. Does that mean he works on Christmas?
