I had, for the first time I can remember, this Monday off. It's pretty nice that this place where I go to my bills makes my birthday week a short week. I wish that more people would celebrate Columbus day so that I could depend on a three day weekend right around the time I get a little older. Alas, I doubt that this will ever happen, unless I decide to switch careers and become a banker.

Yep folks, I'm getting older. Come tomorrow, October 12, I will no longer be a twenty-something. I will have passed the threshold into the land of the thirties. Not really sure what that means, other than it's time to get a new drivers license. I suppose that I should have my act all together by now or something. Um yeah, like that's happened.

I guess that I'm a little wiser, but I'm far from being the wise man on the mountain. I may be wise enough to sit on top of a hill. Still, I'm just happy to be living a good life, and things all in all are going as well as they can be.
