Let me say first, that I am not an avid baseball fan. I wouldn't mind if we could all collectively agree that America's favorite pastime actually involves tackling, touchdowns and pigskin. I have yet to be convinced that an American game derived from cricket is better than an American game derived from rugby.

That said, I can't but help to be happy to see the Yankees lose to their arch-nemesis the Red Socks. I dislike all teams that hold an unchallengeable edge in their respective sports, and if any team epitomizes the lack of competition in sports, it is those guys in the Bronx. It is about time they ate some humble pie.

While I won't watch the games, I hope that the Astros win it all. Maybe hell can freeze over twice in one season.
